my name is Nichole, and i am on a path to a healthier life. i'm addicted to ice tea, summertime, the color orange, flip flops, mini-cations, all things disney °o°, weedy flowers, pizza, and my sweet little family.
a little bit about me...
i graduated from UNR's School of Social Work in Spring of 2010
i married my high school sweetie in October of 2010
started working as a social worker in the winter of 2010/2011
bought a house in the spring of 2011
got a puppy, sweet dexter, in fall of 2011
had a baby in August of 2012, Ella June
and hope to have another one in 2015 and make this one a big sister!
as you can see, from this short timeline, i've always had a few....or more...extra pounds to shed. i found myself at my heaviest, 270, on my baby girl's first birthday. clearly having a baby, breastfeeding, and doing the same ol thing didn't make the weight "drop" off...in fact, i weighed more at that time then i did when E was born.
right after her first birthday i decided a change would do me good...
i joined my fitness pal , and started doing diet bet games and went from 270 to 230 from Sept 2013 - June 2014. though i found major success between the two, i wanted to start blogging and holding myself even more accountable.
